The Swift Kon-Tiki motorhome range has been at the top of Swift’s tree for many years and these good looking motorhomes are a favourite with many owners.  The layout of the 660 is really best suited to couples looking for a spacious interior with lots of storage. 

Entering through the midships doorway, you will find a spacious aisle area, with seating to the left, bedroom to the right, and kitchen in the middle.  All the facilities are easy to live with, including a spacious kitchen area, washroom with separate shower which has a moulded seat and a good sized, convenient height fixed double bed.  There is a good level of equipment and many on the used market will have been enhanced further with accessories.

There is plenty of locker storage and external storage access under the rear bed too, but no garage.  The seating area is generous, although without lumbar supports on the model viewed, the side seats felt rather compromised.

A well cared for Kon-Tiki can command relatively high secondhand values, however they can be susceptible to water ingress, especially early 90’s examples, which also have a tendancy for the GRP outer skin to lose its whiteness to a yellow tinge.  Some will also have been lived in for extended periods, so look for wear and tear which is not commensurate with the mileage, such as heavily used kitchens and washrooms, or collapsed upholstery cushions.
