Bürstner A747-2/A748-2: Imposing 2.8TD Fiat/Alko tag-axle coachbuilt. 

Sold as 747-2 with Pullman dinette or 748-2 with ‘L’ lounge as shown here.  Seatbelts and berths vary according to layout.  Huge underfloor storage, with access through the middle into rear garage.  Generous overcab and rear double beds; 747 dinette makes a double and single, ‘L’ uses an extension on side seat to make an extra single.  Excellent kitchen worktop space, oven at good height.  Shower cubicle has deep tray.  Alde wet heating system on model viewed – excellent system for winter use, will provide even temperature throughout ‘van.  Many are well equipped including awning, reversing camera and cab air-con.

Points to note:
Raised caravan floor means steep drop into cab and can make access/egress between cab/dinette tricky.  Ribbed sides looking a little dated now.  ‘L’ shape table large,       gets in the way if trying to get out of overcab bed with side bed made up.  Check weight plating, especially if considering towing; model viewed had only 200kg towing capacity.
