Getting Started:
To use this unique, powerful, yet free research tool, you must register here. Once you have registered, you will be sent an email with a password. Click the link and enter your email address and password into the login area to gain access to the system.
Basic Search:

You do not have to complete every box in the table before making a Search. The system will search for any level of criteria you select, although a broad Search may give more results than the system can display.
The ‘Max’ and ‘Min’ boxes for Price, Berths, Belts and Length allow you to narrow your search for motorhomes most likely to meet your needs; eg, if you only have 7.2 metres available for parking, you need at least 4 seatbelts, or don’t wish to spend more than £42,000. If you don’t want to set a high or low limit, you can leave either ‘Min’ or ‘Max’ blank.
Click ‘Search’ to see your Results. The system will tell you how many matches it has found with a maximum display of 40 in alphabetical order of Brand.
Once you have made a Basic Search, your selected criteria stays on the screen, allowing you to refine it further by changing values or selecting new items.
Refine Your Search – Beds and Seats:
This facility lets you really get down to detail – want a fixed bed on the side, or bunks for the children? How about a rear lounge or an ‘L’ shape dinette? The system will work out which Bed and Seat options are available from the Basic Search criteria previously selected. Tick your key requirement here and experiment with more searches. If there are no results returned, elements of your refinements are conflicting each other (eg there are currently no motorhomes with a Fixed Island Bed and a Rear Lounge).
Advanced Options:

Here you can filter results to show those only with a Garage, your Preferred Chassis, or no more than 3500kg Maximum Weight. For more information about these options please see our FAQ’s.
Reset button:
Clicking the Reset button clears all selections so you can start again with a clean sheet. ‘My Shortlist’ will not be affected.
Help button:
Returns you to this page.
Results Table:

Results are displayed below the Search Window, with the key matching elements of your search displayed for each Model Result. From here, you can view our full description of any Result by clicking on the logo on the left, or add it to My Shortlist by clicking on the text link on the far right of the Result line for that model.
If you wish to browse the list with less scrolling, you can click the ‘Hide Search Window link at the top of the page.
Model Description Screen:

On selection of a Model from the Results or Shortlist Screens, a new window opens to display all the data and images we have for the Model selected, including Basic Specification and up to three chassis/engine variants, with links to further information. You can add the Model to your Shortlist just by clicking ‘Add to Shortlist’. If the Model is already in your Shortlist, you can remove it or go to your Shortlist from here too.
Show My Shortlist:

My Shortlist is your own personal area to store your favourite motorhomes for quick access and comparison. You can access My Shortlist at any time from the link on the Search page, or from any Model description that is shortlisted.
You can clear models individually from My Shortlist by clicking on the text to the right of the listing, or from the Model description. If you wish to clear your entire Shortlist, go to My Shortlist and click on the Clear My Shortlist button – you will be prompted to confirm deletion.

Question not answered?
What is ‘max berths’?
Sometimes manufacturers offer options allowing for a different number of berths than standard on a new motorhome order. We base our number of berths on the maximum as published in the manufacturers' Technical Specifications.
What is ‘max belts’?
Sometimes manufacturers offer options allowing for a different number of seatbelts than standard on a new motorhome order. We base our number of seatbelts on the maximum offered by the manufacturer, as published in their Technical Specifications.
Why is there more than one Chassis/Engine listed for a particular Model?
Many manufacturers offer a choice of engine/chassis. Our system allows for up to three options to be displayed.
What is ‘Max Weight’?
The maximum weight that the motorhome can be loaded to, including passengers, effects and equipment. Often referred to as Maximum Technical Permissible Laden Mass (MTPLM), Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) or Total Weight. For more information about Weights, see our Beginners Guide.
What is 'Maximum Payload?
Payload is the vehicle load capacity for persons and equipment. IMPORTANT: Please note that motorhome manufacturers’ calculation of available payload for publishing purposes can vary. Therefore, you should only consider the 'Maximum Payload' figure given here as a guide, as taken from Manufacturers' technical specifications. Check what is and isn’t included in the manufacturers’ Payload calculation before purchase. Chassis options and homogolation will also affect the net payload available. For more information about Payloads, see our Beginners’ Guide.
Why isn’t Payload always shown for each engine option?
Because we can only show this where data is available to us.
What is a Garage?
For the purposes of My Motorhome Chooser, ‘Garage’ means we believe that, based on the information available to us, that an external storage area is present across the rear of the vehicle, with a reasonable loading height and should be large enough to at least accommodate a standard bicycle without adjustment or modification. Please note that our system does not take account of side-loading external stores, which can sometimes accommodate cycles.
What is a Transverse Washroom?
An enclosed washroom and changing area which occupies the rear of the motorhome from side to side.
What is Fixed Singles/Double?
Some layouts which have fixed single beds will also make up a double bed in the same area with additional components, which may be supplied as standard or optional.
What is a Roof Bed (Van Conversions)?
Some van conversions offer a bed area in the roof space. This could be in an Elevating Roof or a Fixed Roof. The available space varies and whilst some can accomodate two adults, others are really only suitable for children. In general an Elevating Roof will offer more space while a Fixed Roof will give more insulation.
What is an Island bed?
A fixed double bed arrangement with access both sides. Beds which are angled with access both sides are sometimes known as ‘Queen’ beds. For the purposes of My Motorhome Chooser these are included in the ‘Island’ bed classification.
What is ‘Chassis Preference’?
Motorhome manufacturers use a variety of base vehicles (the ‘Chassis’). If you have a preferred base vehicle, you can select it here. All other vehicles will be excluded, even if they meet the other criteria you have selected.
What is ‘Limit to 3500kg MTPLM’?
This option allows you to exclude vehicles from Results which have a maximum loaded weight exceeding 3500kg. This may be important to you depending on licencing restrictions or which countries you are intending visisting. For more detailed information click here.
What is Rear Lounge Double/Singles?
Rear lounge layouts usually convert into a double bed. Some will convert into single beds as an alternative, depending on seat length and design.
I have a brochure and pricelist, why are your prices different?
We show the Base Price (for the UK) including On The Road charges (OTR). Some pricelists show this as a separate (but inevitable) charge. In rare cases, the OTR can vary according to dealer location. Manufacturers and Importers may have a different price for a pre-ordered model specification, or change prices without notice. Whilst we make every effort to ensure our prices are accurate, they are for guidance only; we aren’t always told about changes – if you spot something wrong, please tell us.
I already have a Model in mind - how do I compare?
Just input the key elements of the Model as part of a Search. It should then appear in Results (assuming it is on our system) along with other similar models.
Why is the number of displayed search results limited to 40?
The system makes an intelligent search based on your selected criteria. If a high number of vehicles match, it will be time consuming for you to work through the differences between models. In this case, we recommend you run another search, using alternative refinement selections which still meet your requirements.
Why do some Models show a layout diagram but describe a different or additional seating layout?
Some vehicles have multiple seating options to make a different layout, according to mood or seatbelt requirements. Our Model Record is based on the manufacturers’ standard layout and the Specification panel may refer to alternatives available.
Why do I have to register?
We provide a free, unlimited New Motorhome Search service including your own Shortlist facility. Here you can store your favourite models from searches, for review whenever you like. This means everyone who uses the service needs their own log-in. We may also from time to time wish to advise you of relevant news or offers, which we believe may be of interest to you, depending on the options you selected on registration. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
