Inside:
A welcoming entrance invites you immediately into the forward seating area, which makes use of the swivelling cab seats, a forward half dinette and an ingenious side seat arrangement, which can be made up into a rear facing belted seat for travelling, offering the potential of 5 belted persons on board. With the optional panoramic rooflight fitted, this is a light and airy space, being also adjacent to the caravan entrance door which has its own opening window.
The midships kitchen is a little tight, but offers a good range of storage, some worktop space, a large fridge/freezer and an oven.
The bedroom zone has been well very well thought out, incorporating the shower and vanity facilities within. Adria has made clever use of differing floor levels as you enter this area, so the bed, whilst built over the external store, is of good height inside and offers even more storage underneath. There is a good amount of free space around the shower and vanity areas, the shower having a solid screen and a nightime cloaking curtain.
Summary:
There are some very innovative features on the Coral S 690 SP, including the use of differing floor levels, the possibility of 5 belted seats (although it is only 3 berth) and the bedroom/washroom configuration. With so much storage available, it will be tempting to use up the available payload, particularly if a number of factory options are added.
The neat design and competitive pricing will mean the Coral S 690 SP will find its way on to many shortlists.
